Warning, scammers! We booked a hotel stay on Vancouver Island with GoSplitty in September 2023. GoSplitty then cancelled the booking on the last day it was 100% refundable and kept the money. Complete scam. Paid for a room and over 4 days later, the hotel did not have a reservation in my name and GoSplitty refused to give me a confirmation number. I booked with another vendor. Upon completion of my travels, the district manager for the hotel chain confirmed my suspicions by email that GoSplitty never paid for a room in my name.

Accidentally booked a trip without insurance and immediately contacted to get this cancelled and corrected while the transaction was still pending, got stonewalled multiple times before being told it was "escalated" and hearing nothing back. DO NOT USE. Date of experience: April 25, 2024. Useful.So, EASILY $250+ including taxes and everything for two nights. However, I ended up paying $196 including taxes and everything instead for two nights by booking through go splitty. Splitty customer service said they needed to take it to the "Team" but never tried to change the room to a Double after numerous attempts in calling Splitty customer service and being put on hold. They tried to blame Super 8 - it was Splitty who indicated to Super 8 that I should have a SINGLE room. TERRIBLE customer service!
