It technically can, nothing is foolproof. It's never happened tho. At absolute most you may get banned from the game in particular, or the game will detect CreamAPI and not launch. Something like Easy Anti Cheat for example will likely detect the dll swap and refuse to launch. Steam itself has never banned anyone over CreamAPI.
